THE BIRTHDAY GIRLS

Even Ally dressed as a princess for Abby's party!

ABBY'S 4TH BIRTHDAY

Abby is now 4 years old. She invited 10 of her friends to a royal Cinderella Ball. They all dressed up as Princesses, she was of course Cinderella. They decorated little crowns to hang on their door handles, then we played pin the slipper on Cinderella. After that we all danced with balloons to princess music until it was time for presents. Abby loved this part, and couldn't wait to play with her new toys. Then they all settled down for some Cinderella cake and mint ice cream, Abby's favorite. Abby had tons of fun, and is already planning her party for when she turns five.

ALLY'S 1ST BIRTHDAY

Ally is now 1 year old. To celebrate we had some family over for cake & ice cream, and of course lots of presents too. Ally can hold up her finger to show you that she is one. She loved eating the cake, and she ended up looking something like a smurf when she was all done.

She loved opening presents, this one she just couldn't wait to play with.

FARGO

Last Weekend we had the chance to meet Aunt Jen & Uncle Matt in Fargo to see their horses Xenos and Neverlast do some harness racing. Abby had lots of fun with her cousins Taylor & Beckham, and Ally just loved being outside. We also took the kids to Space Aliens for supper and Abby & her cousins had a blast with Aunt Jen in the arcade. She even managed to get enough tickets for some light-up lip gloss for Taylor and Abby, and a car for Beckham. Thanks for inviting us, great memories were made!

By pure coincidence Taylor and Abby got their with matching PJ's, this was very exciting to them.

We all got to go early and see the horses up close before the race, I was afraid they were going to eat Allison. There heads were huge compared to hers. The girls enjoyed petting the horses and causing mayham in the barn.

Then we went back for a quick dip in the pool until it was time for the races.

Here is Jen & Matt getting the horse ready, not sure which horse. The he/she went out for the race, and then Matt was leading him back in.

It was really windy the first day, but the kids didn't seem to mind. Taylor & Abby bundled up in a blanket and Ally had hat & mittens to keep her warm.

Everyone enjoying their food at Space Aliens.

Aunt Jen & the kids in the arcade.

The last day was a little warmer, and less windy. The kids all got activity books and giant pens, which kept them occupied for a while, there was time for some football, I think she'll make a great runningback. I think those are the guys that score the touchdowns in football?

Abby also enjoyed a giant blue sno-cone, and helping keep her sister in line!

A PONY RIDE

Abby went to a birthday party at Bunker Stables on Saturday. She was so excited to ride a horse. She rode a horse named sneek-a-peek, I know kinda wierd name, but she loved him. She wasn't scared at all, and climb up on him and just sat there. He was a very mild horse, which I was grateful for since I had to lead him around the trail. Abby had tons of fun, and now she can't wait to go to Fargo and see Aunt Jen and Uncle Matt's horses.

FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL

Abby was so excited for her first day of preschool. I told her we didn't have to leave until after lunch, and at 10am I came downstairs and she had gotten a hot dog and told me she was done with lunch. She is too funny. When we dropped them off the parents stayed for about 20 minutes to hear the rules, she kept asking when I was going to leave, she wanted to stay all by herself. When it came time to leave I was the one crying, and she had run off to play. When I picked her up she was so proud, she said let me show you what I made you mom, isn't it adorable? Her backpack is as big as she is, but it is the one she picked.
